Firefighting men and women risking it all in the front line of these horrendous fires, emergency response teams and volunteers who ease the suffering of fellow humans and our perishing wildlife with tireless commitment and compassion, need our support. ⁣

No matter how insignificant our contribution may feel against the scope of this nightmare – no matter how disillusioned we feel, we must keep choosing to act. The road to recovery and restoration is long. We might lose the battle against things beyond our control but we simply can’t lose the battle to complacency, ignorance and inaction. ⁣
