It has taken me a while to digest the fact that there won’t be more seasons of Norsemen, at least not on @netflix. I feel sad to let you down; our fans. 🙏🏼 The world’s best fans! You really are! ♥️ What we thought would be an eccentric and exclusively Norwegian show turned out to be picked up by Netflix (after a lot of work by our producer @andersxtangen) and reach all over the world, thanks to the talent of the creators of the show, @brodskiver and @torgerjonasen, a magnificent cast and the very best team around us- it’s been a lot of hard work but also SO MUCH FUN! It turned out to be genuine and universal in all it’s quirky (sub)humanness. 🤪 I am so glad I got to be in it and to have the privilege of portraying Frøya, a character so many of you embraced and found inspiration in. 💪🏼 Oh; while we’re at it: We need more badass female role models! Because there are so many badass women out there, and that needs to be reflected on screen. Women with an agenda of their own, women with real strength (not necessarily super powers), women with humor! ✊🏻Aaanywayyyhh… Thank you for all the love and enthusiasm you’ve given back to us, I hope there will be other opportunities in the future to share a good laugh and maybe a few tears. Who knows what the future will bring for the show? Everything can happen in this crazy viking universe! Love you all! ♥️
