Molly C. Quinn Instagram – We started dating in 2015. We started living together in 2016, you were traveling all the time, but I always felt like I came first. Thank you for that. 2017 I started to realize you loved me for me, a person I was just discovering. 2018 I feel like we started to mind meld, meaning we felt freer to argue because neither of us were going anywhere. 2019 is the first year we’ve fully lived together, day to day. Taking care of each other, discovering weighted blankets, our friends really becoming OUR friends. Creating a shared family with Piper and Pikachu, building our own world. I cannot wait for you to wake up, so I can spend the day with you. I can’t wait to spend every day with you. You’re my best friend, Elan. Thank you for giving me 4 anniversaries to celebrate and counting! I love you.
Molly C. Quinn Instagram – Yesterday, while Elan, our friend Peter, and I were having an amazing ski day in the mountains of Hokkaido, Japan, Elan suggested we take a photo to commemorate the trip. Something he always makes sure to do. But then, things started to get odd. He was taking off his skis… and helmet… and looking at me with a mixture of total love, fear, and vulnerability. I turned to see what was taking Peter so long because I was freezing and refusing to take any gear off… and I see Peter, also with skis off, running into the middle of the slope with his phone out. I turned back to Elan, he reached his hand into his inside jacket pocket, I screamed “NO!” Elan helped me take my helmet and gloves off, he got down on one knee, and I said “YES!” at least a hundred times. I am still surprised and in awe of the perfection of the moment. I am in love and we are ENGAGED!
