Once I was clear about what I wanted, there was no looking back.
Ofcourse this came with its fair share of non acceptance, judgements & criticisms. I hail from a simple family where acting has never been a thing. Once I had my parents onboard with this decision I knew they are soon going to be proud of my choice.
This required patience & all the hours of hardwork that went into my new career as an actor by enjoying every ounce of it.

And now I can proudly say, although I may become a star or not, I surely feel blessed to have received the kind of love I have from this industry.
People who didn’t approve of this, the naysayers & everyone who once were on the other side, are all applauding & congratulating my successes.
It surely was not easy, but here’s what I have to say through my experience – If you assume that people’s disapproval means you are not capable, then you’re never going to follow through with your dreams or find a career that’s fulfilling to you. Focus on your inner voice & definitely at the end of the rainbow the dreams that you dare to dream really does come true 💕

Somewhere over the rainbow, dreams do come true.
Here’s my story –
I come from a family background of dad being a power lifter & my grandpa being a lecturer, both of who have instilled the strongest values in me of building a foundation to have the freedom to follow my dreams. I’ve learnt to accept & take ownership of all my decisions in my life.
And one fine day I arrived at that fork in the road that required a choice. When I was approached with a television acting opportunity – ‘Acting’ can this be chosen as a real career ? What if a career backed by my master degree grades be more rewarding than this?
Battling all those mixed thoughts in my head, I chose to follow that strong inner voice that prompted me to step out of my comfort zone & dive right in to this opportunity. “Why not?”
