There are people on night duty always on the lookout for miscreants, people from outside aren’t allowed at night. Everyone has a role to play. But one thing the protests do miss is representation on women farmers. The numbers are extremely low as compared to men.
We talked to a few women on this issue who came from Delhi to help the farmers and they said, “since most of them are old, it’s hard for them to run if something bad happens, plus there’s problems with proper sanitation and they are back home taking care of the rest of the family, that’s how they’re contributing.”
People are also trying to keep themselves sane and entertained. In picture 3 you’ll see farmers talking among themselves which was planned and is a fake candid moment.
