घर की चार दीवारी, बिस्तर पर सोते बच्चे,
गोदी पर सर टिकाया टॉमी
और सोफे पर बैठे हम.
कभी लोन का डर, कभी काम की चिंता,
बहुत कुछ के बीच, सब कुछ की चाहत में,
टीवी पर टकटकी लगाए ख़यालों में खोये हम.
और एक तरफ आसमानी छत के नीचे,
फुटपाथ की तकिया पर सिमटे मासूमों का नसीब.
वो मोती जो पालतू नहीं पर है बहुत करीब.
सड़क पर घर सजाये – वो हैं बहुत गरीब.
सिमटे बैठे हैं-
ग़ौर से देखो तो डर नहीं यह प्यार है.
तस्वीर खींचने वाले से हिचक नहीं,
ज़हन में इत्मिनान है.
टीवी नहीं फ़ोन पर देखते हैं कहानियाँ,
आज में जीते हैं, कल तो देगा ही हैरानियाँ,
एक पल में जैसे ज़िन्दगी का फ़लसफ़ा सिखा जाना.
