It is with extremely heavy hearts that we share the loss of our beautiful Natalie this morning from colon cancer. She was a bright light in this world. A queen. An extraordinary mother and wife. Her diverse career touched so many and she will be loved forever. Naturally, we are grieving and processing this profound loss and we thank you in advance for respecting our privacy at this extremely difficult time. 🙏🏽💔

I’ve been haunted since Ahmaud Arbery, saddened since Breonna Taylor and heartbroken since George Floyd. The other night in L. A. the curfew was changed from 10 to 9 my husband not knowing and wanting a cold glass of OceanSpray Cranberry Mango (he’s Jamaican😊) decided to go to the grocery store. I was in the back of the house and all I could here was our daughters screaming, “Dad no don’t leave please Dad” I couldn’t do nothing but cry. He felt their fear and relented. That night the last thing I saw before I went to bed was George Floyd’s daughter Gianna and I kept saying to myself, “Why does she look so familiar? “ I said my prayers and went to bed and the answer came in my dreams. The image of Coretta Scott King at Martin’s funeral with little Bernice on her lap😪52 years later same image different violence one was a gun the other was a knee! Still racism. All I can do is pray constantly asking God lead me to my purpose in this fight and prepare me for the journey. Today is my husband Lenny’s birthday so grateful to have him with us covering us and loving us So blessed. This is so painful. My Aunt Ann gave me rosary beads she lost a child and got a divorce while she was an undercover FBI agent and she said it comforted her and helped her cope every time she couldn’t take the pain. It does work I love her so much! Let’s just pray not judge but show Peace and Love ❤️

Oh my gosh the best memories😂😂On this day we were learning and perfecting setting up the tracks for the dolly and camera. This was the third week of mastering it and I was the Dolly Grip. One of the hardest jobs in filming to me is the Dolly Grip, but once your levels are good and the camera is sitting properly you are ready to roll like the “Cohen Brothers” in “No Country For Old Men”. When our children were very small I would turn off the tv put on Vivaldi and we would paint together for hours. It would b a mess but it was such a good time. My apples were always ugly. Their art just got better and better. Today is a special day so I wanted to post something that makes me happy. Our oldest daughter drew this I think when she was twelve. Yesterday was so different for my whole family No barbecue, No potato salad, No guest… just the sounds of fireworks and gunshots until 4:OO in the morning. At one point all I could think of was, “Is this what it sounded like when Breonna was awakened out of her sleep?!”😪😪Where’s the justice ya’ll? I feel so helpless. I’m trying so hard to hold my anger. I just pray for her family and ask God to order my steps.
