And he is one of the best new songwriters in Italy. 2 years ago he went to the recording studio of Daniel Nentwig from Whitest Boy Alive to record his debut album with Marcin Oz as producer. 4 singles have already come out and they can be found on Contenta Tu(name of the album) together with other future hits, like Palla, one of my favourites. Some of you will remember his solo performance from the Funkhaus shows June 2018, a video of which you can see if you scroll the photos here. His album comes out digitally tomorrow( Friday 5 February), go and give it a listen. Even if you don’t speak Italian. Clara Cebrian made the video for Rainman in 2014. She made the illustrated cover for La Comitivas single For The Time Being in 2019. And while me and Maschat and the rest of the Caged Dolphins were musicians in residence at El Ganzo, she was ARTIST in residence at El Ganzo. She kept loosing her keycard for her room, and had to go back to reception to get her a new one everytime, but since the hotel wasn’t officially open for the most of the period she often had to climb the balcony to get in. We had a kitchen nearby the hotel where we cooked food and we went on trips on weekends to beaches nearby. Clara, Jorge, Maschat, Erlend. My quarantine family…❤️It was a wonderful time and of course we made a song with Clara about her returning problem of the missing keycard. On Friday ( 31st July) you can listen to Quarantine At El Ganzo in its entirety. 14 tracks 45 minutes. And if you head to @bubbles_records you can already hear the first minute of “Price”, one of the 6 songs I sing lead on the album . This song started as a demo on my computer, then I tried to record it, first with Eirik @glambek from KoC, and subsequently with @lacomitiva.band . But I wasn’t really convinced with any of the recordings and the song was put in the drawer for a while, until I was coronastranded in Baja California Sur with @stoneagekid , @instagramdejorge and @elpacorosas at the studio of @hotelelganzo
