Sorry it took me a whole day to get to this, but as you can tell from this picture, I just woke up from a really long nap (with paper clip ready though, always ready) and we have a premiere date people! December 4th. Not even very far away.
Tonight! 8pm T-minus six hours and counting. A message to the ten percent of MacGyver fans who have an @, please pass this on to your parents and grandparents for me. “To the legions of fans of the show out there, thanks for keeping us around to present to you the finest season yet! Tonight episode is a nod to the John Wick franchise and I think we delivered it well.” Keanu I hope we did you proud.
There’s two reunions tonight. @pronouncedhorhay and @henryiancusick from their stints on lost. And @ripfighter and myself from back in the day when he was my harda** father in Walk the Line. Tonight at 8 on @macgyvercbs
Hey guys! Check out tonight’s episode and watch Mac meet…. Desi’s parents! Only on @cbs at 8 pm! This one is a funny one!
Was 2020 a year of growth for you? Or was it a year of filth and chafe leaving behind an angrier, more desperate version of you? Welp, either way, THIS EPISODE IS FOR YOU!! That’s right, in an hour get ready for some catharsis and watching me embarrass myself singing and playing a ukelele. Only on @cbs.
Shout out to this dude. He’s got more likes than I have followers. Pretty cool when these things actually work.
Oh just a little Easter egg cameo appearance in the silver suit behind me and @henryiancusick for y’all. I’ll give you a hint. It’s A-Train. Ok another hint it’s @jessietusher. I’m terrible at keeping secrets.
Check out tonight’s Despicable Me crossover episode! Only on @cbstv 8PM Friday nights.
Tonight’s episode of Mac features @iamaly and snakes. In no particular order. I had so much fun making this one. Check it out at 8PM tonightah! On @macgyvercbs
Bernie dropped in and had some notes. Only one following protocols as you can see and boy! We did not hear the end of it. Drop by and check us out tonight at 8 pm/7central. I don’t know if that central part is right but I always wanted to say it.
Hey everybody, had the pleasure of two firsts, my first podcast with my friend Billy Gallo @actorbillygallo and I think the first time I’ve ever been photographed in my natural environment with facial hair. We talk about standing up for yourself on set as well as some other things. Even a little thing about Billy many people may not know about. Go check it out I had an awesome time doing it and he’s been doing some great interviews and started this just recently during quarantine. The podcast is called Hollywood Dream Maker and is on Spotify and Apple podcast.
On Friday take a second to sit down and watch the most important film I’ve certainly done to date. Son of the South. Select theatres and VoD on Friday February 5th.
Had the pleasure of being a part of this with a phenomenal cast of people. Feel lucky everyday to have had the chance to be in it. It was made in summer 2019 and relevancy at the time has only increased since then. It comes out on digital/ VOD February 5th.
Can’t believe we get to have a show coming on in the middle of what’s going on in the world. Very grateful and I’m optimistic you’ll really love this season. #macV
One of my iPhone generated album thingies.
Big shoutout to my buddy @dayramphal for the turquoise and silver this Christmas. I’m always stalking his collection and he decided to throw me a bone. Thanks man! Although I’m pretty sure he picked it up from @warwomangoods so go check out her stuff. Reasonably priced great pieces.
2 weeks! Finally! Here we come!
Five more hours! Tonight is not only the first actual new episode we’ve shot this year, it’s also the intro of a new character played by none other than @realjoeypants I’m sure you will all love it as much as I do.
Don’t ever say the “F word” in front of @themereaton. Tonight at 8pm /7 central #watchyourmouth
Uh-oh. Looks like Mikey @thanksamilligan is gonna tear it up on the Resident this coming Tuesday. 😳
On @sonofthesouthfilm I had the blessing of being able to work with a handful of super talented men and women. While I could go on and on, and probably will, just want to talk a moment to single about @chakaforman. I got to watch him play his father, James Forman (executive secretary of SNCC from 1961 to 1966), and not only were they some of my favorite lengthy scenes to perform, but also the scenes have been mentioned by people who’ve seen the film, citing the “tell me about your first memories of race” conversation, and how much it meant to them. He absolutely slaughtered it and I would recommend checking him and the rest of the pantheon of greats in this movie that I was lucky enough to stand beside. Oh and thanks @john_rosario for the great photo steal. (He was our Titan of a DP of this movie and I’ll fill you in more on him later. 😉)
#Repost @historycoolkids with @make_repost ・・・ Doris Miller aka Dorie was an American sailor who is best remembered for manning the anti-aircraft guns and tending to the wounded during the attack on Pearl Harbor, December 7, 1941. Dorie joined the United States Navy in 1939 as a Mess Attendant Third Class, which was one of the few positions open to Black Americans. His duties consisted of cooking and serving meals. During that time, Black Americans were not allowed to use or carry guns in the navy, and so Dorie was never trained to use one. The expectation was that Dorie would never get above a messman level. On the morning of the attack, Dorie was doing laundry when he heard the alarms go off on the ship. He headed to the deck where he began to immediately tend to the wounded, carrying them on his shoulders and bringing them to safety. Dorie then proceeded to take over the anti-aircraft gun despite having no weapons training. “It wasn’t hard. I just pulled the trigger and she worked fine. I had watched the others with these guns. I guess I fired her for about 15 minutes. I think I got one of those [Japanese] planes. They were diving pretty close to us.” He was the first Black American to be awarded the Navy Cross (second highest decoration for valor after the Medal of Honor). He was also awarded the Purple Heart. Two years after Pearl Harbor, Dorie was serving on the USS Liscome Bay in the Pacific when it was struck by a torpedo from a Japanese submarine. Dorie was among the 644 men who lost their lives. In 2020, the U.S. Navy announced that their next carrier would be named the USS Doris Miller. Hahahha how great is this?! Props to whomever put this together. #Repost @macgyvercbs with @make_repost ・・・ Action. Drama. Suspense. What more could you ask for? #MacGyver #MagnumPI
Honored once again to be apart of something I knew was great but that others seem to agree with. @sonofthesouthfilm
