As you may know, the Grampians in Australia – possibly the best climbing in the world – banned climbing out of nowhere. This climbing ban has been fought extensively through organizations and every legal channel to no avail. Now, a new management plan for the parks is up for approval. This plan, if approved, will CLOSE at least 94 % of the bouldering areas and 80 % of all roped climbing. Devastating. Those of you who have climbed in the Grampians and know how special this place is, and those of you who have not yet been but dream of making a trip one day, this is a deciding moment. Please, PLEASE help out by sending an email to [email protected] letting them know that this park management plan closing climbing in nearly all climbing areas is unacceptable and that a better solution must be found. Even a quick email will help to let them know that this ban affects a large number of people negatively. For more detailed info on this access struggle there is a link in my profile. The deadline for the management plan is in a few days. Any emails letting them know the management plan needs to be revised will help. I miss this place so much and would hate to live in a world where other climbers won’t have a chance to experience this incredible place. Photos: @ladzinski

Really doesn’t get much better than this for DWS! Bullet granite, fresh water lake, non-Mediterranean temperatures and a floating sauna underneath! This cliff is shaping up to be like nothing else in the world. What might be the most difficult line on the cliff finally went down a couple days ago. Full on climb and high on up on the star-scale, I’m calling it ‘Ei tippa tapa’. Stay tuned for a video in the works. Stoke is high to get back to the newly brushed projects that may well turn out to be just as hard! 🙌☀️💦 Photo: @markosiivinen @blackdiamond @lasportivagram
Peru was such an unforgettable trip. I spent about a month in the Cordillera Blanca solo busy exploring and opening boulders. Might be the most hiking and brushing I’ve ever done in a month’s time. I caught some of the climbs on film and we put together a little video. Find the link in my profile

Northern Norway has been good to us with great weather and nightless nights. Here’s a nice one from yesterday, first ascent of Nothing to Declare 8A in Ersfjorden. @blackdiamond @lasportivagram
The past weeks I’ve been on a mission exploring the high mountains of Peru and what I’ve been finding has been nothing short of impressive. Not just the rocks but the culture here, the food and the Quetchua people living off the land in the mountains with basically nothing having changed in the past few thousand years. Here is one of my favorite finds Middle Children of History 8A , at the highest zone I’ve been developing calling it Alto Paraíso up in the mountains at 4400 meters. More to come. @blackdiamond @lasportivagram
Magic Wood needs a little help! Magic wood is one of the most widely known international bouldering destinations and since the early days the Saluz family has been running the guesthouse and the campground and been the heart of the climbing community, advocating for climbers at every turn. Now their public utility contract has been abruptly cancelled and a change of management could jeopardize access and change the climbing community altogether. Certainly not something any climber wants to see. So please take a minute to sign this petition (link in bio) to show the local administration how vital the current management is to the climbing community worldwide.
Here’s a good one! Servicio Turistico 😄 @blackdiamond @lasportivagram
First ascent of Bipolar Bear 8A in Lökkiö. Love this one! The days are getting short in Finland and winter is on its way. Video by @markosiivinen. @blackdiamond @lasportivagram
First ascent of YOLO Perro, Cordillera Blanca, Peru
Finding great blocs left and right! Just changed my flight, this place is hard to leave! Nocaut, 8A. @blackdiamond @lasportivagram
Unforgettable times in the Argentinian altiplano. Lots of rock. Bright colors. Thin air. Altitude sickness. Hot Springs. Llamas. Wind. Check the full video (link in bio) @mindframecinema @mlloyd8 @blackdiamond
