What does freedom mean to you? To me it’s the little things and big things. It’s having a life full of joy- of laughing loudly in public without consternation. It’s loving whomever we want. It’s safety in our homes. It’s making mistakes and finding redemption. And so much more. And it all ought to start when we’re young. I believe in investing black girls, so they have a chance to have joy, to be safe and free, to grow up healthy and thriving. That’s why I’m proud to be wearing a @phenomenal shirt in support of the @blackgirlfreedomfund, a call to invest $1 billion in Black girls over the next ten years, to close the chasm of access caused by structural violence against Black girls.
