i’ll point it out, my left eyeball is much bigger & protrudes more visibly than my right, that’s an indication my autoimmune thyroiditis is acting up… i can’t do vigorous exercises but i read up on a few breathing & morning meditation i can try while working myself up to going back to a regular yoga practice.

last Friday i did special individualized greetings for 200 people. yesterday for 11 hours, i finished the next 200… no spoilers. new friends of mine reached out through my nephew @jiggycruz, i liked what they wanted to do to make people they are grateful to feel that they are willing to go the extra mile to show them they are appreciated & they’ll do their BEST to keep their relationship STRONG.
yes, i’ve really grown up- those video greetings will be sent out on Valentine’s Day, my birthday- but i finally realized life isn’t about me- it’s about the unique gift i’ve been given, i know how to connect, start a conversation, and be interested in the lives of others. Yes, i do talk a lot- but the difference is- i also know how to listen. And in 2021, that’s what we all need- someone who will reach out, show we are significant, we are worth the time & the effort to FEEL that even during uncertain times, they believe we’re special and they actually did something about it.

We showed my doctor & i missed daw the vein by less than 1/2 an inch or else nasa ER na ko. This pic was already after nalinis yung cuts with CUTASEPT but before the FUCIDIN.

early last night my good friend @michaelleyva_ passed by… he’s still young so i understand why this was his point of view about relationships. He said “ate, natutunan ko na pag magmahal ka wag mong ibigay ang lahat, maging selfish ka ng konti para kung hindi mag work, kung matapos na, hindi ka ubos, mas madaling mag move on…”
i kept quiet because for every person, we’ll look at love differently based on our experiences… 14 years ago i would have agreed with Michael 100%…
BUT as you grow older, you realize- how you love evolves… hindi na nagbibilang… i’m not a halfway type of person- i want to see it through until there will be no more what ifs… the difference now is that in the past i only wanted my what ifs answered- i learned it goes both ways, as much as i needed my questions answered, so did he… the old me worked to be sure i’d be okay at the end, this time around i’ll continue caring about how kindly life will treat him.

Bimb is cute- he said, “mama are we going to suffocate with all the flowers you got?” i told him- “bimb, i kept them here and in the other unit because i know how much more it cost to send me flowers because my birthday is Valentine’s Day (na realize nya because he wanted his ate @milesocampo to have flowers, so sa lobby napagastos sya for her 😘) – and i’m so grateful. So we’re going to still BREATHE!”
we leave in 10 days BECAUSE cargo is being packed, permits are being secured, and thank God new contracts are being signed… i chose these roses among all i received because maybe in the next few months not only my body will somehow heal…maybe i’ll be ready.
