Super excited to see our indigenous chairman @benki.piyako of @aniwa.co and @theboafoundation being featured in @forbes magazine along with another aniwa collaborator and leader @biracijryawanawa getting to share about bridging the ancient world into the modern. If you follow either of our organizations you know this is part of the ethos of both , as we strongly believe it’s not one or the other ( ancient world vs modern ) but rather a synthesis of both that will create the new future.
Deep bow of gratitude and respect to brother @whitewolfmusica whose inspiration and dedication allowed for these guys voices to be published in this mainstream publication. Truly a huge gift for this world in this moment.
These are the types of leaders we need to look to. This is why we assemble 50 of the worlds best and brightest indigenous elders each year for aniwa gathering. This is why I have spent months and months with benki on diet learning and months with bira juniors great grandfather learning from them. What They have to teach is not accessible in our universities , on our televisions, and on the internet ( for the most part ). Deep gratitude for Forbes making this more accessible for more people.
