I’ve been trying to find places and people who are pet friendly and @tentgraam was such a great find. They loved and adored Phoebe and made her feel at home. Trekking, camping, watching sunrise among the hills and what not! Phoebe and her mom had a gala time. I wish I could find more and more places to take her. Finally we can watch movies in theatres but until then our saviour was our own screens. My favourite spot made comfier by this bean lounger. Even Sheldon would exchange his spot for this 😍

Vanilla and me.
The beauty of the valley was finding these lovely dogs everywhere. No one shushes them away. They are well fed and loved. And they stay as the most loyal companions of people of the valley. But I was not expecting to see them at Kutla, which is so high and requires a strenuous trek. But she was there with me throughout the entire journey.
So loyal, strong, affectionate. My Vanilla. Until we meet again ♥️

Started this year with a trip to Himachal and this entire year was like the strenuous, hard, almost defeating trek to the peak of Kutla. And I hope this coming 2021 will be as amazing and rewarding as this view of the Parvati valley among the majestic Himalayas.
Remember that only the hard paths lead us to the best destinations. Maybe 2020 was preparing us to become stronger and better versions of ourselves. To realise that there is a lot of pain out there and we need to stand by each other through it all. That all the pandemics and epidemics don’t give a damn about our religious, political alignments. That these man made borders of divisions are all just a myth keeping us all apart and away and in the end, weaker.
So what we can and should do is to stand together, regardless of our differences and stay kinder.
To a better year, but never to forget the path. Here is bidding 2020 goodbye and gazing at 2021 with all the hope I can muster.
