Xenia Goodwin Instagram – While everyone has been affected in some way or another, and I am personally impressed at the speed of government grants for help in Australia, we mustn’t forget our arts. At this point in time almost all workers in all fields in the arts are not eligible for assistance from our government. We are all at home watching and listening to creatives to get through this, the creatives who work so hard to bring us entertainment and knowledge. However they work mostly, casually, and for less than 12 months with one employer. We understand there has to be a line drawn somewhere for government support. But I for one am suggesting that a seperate arts assistance package is created as soon as possible. We are relying on them to keep us positive, entertained and informed.
