I had no agency, and had never worked abroad.. all I had was a few YouTube videos – Unfortunately I couldn’t make it to the audition, because I was going on a family trip in Thailand, but I still figured I would take the chance and send a link to an agency called @rndcreatives hoping that it would be handed to Jamal who was choreographing. It was a long shot, since it was a world wide audition with thousands of applicants..
Somehow my footage landed in Jamal’s hands and he choose me without seeing me in real life.. I cut my vacation short and takes the first flight to London to work on Aladdin – hence, why my first rehearsal was in a Hawaii shirt (see the last pic)🤣🤦🏽♂️ and the rest is history.
