Dance is something that keeps me alive.
Im the happiest person when I’m dancing and stage performances are my strength, But yesterday was different, for the first time I bursted out crying after my performance and I couldn’t stop myself.
We 3 actresses ( @nidhisubbaiah @krishithapanda and myself) had a medley performance at #Yuvadasara mysore where each of us danced fr a different peppy number after which there was kodava valaga dance planned for us to dance together as we are kodavathis.
I was very much fine when I danced for my song #Basanni ,I put my highest energy and I really loved the response I received from the wonderful audience.
This valaga dance was planned fr us before, but we 3 never rehearsed for it together as we wanted to dance in our own style for it.
It’s when the valaga music started playing on stage , I suddenly got shivers in my body, I just recalled my cousins wedding few months back where I was happily dancing with my dad for valaga,he was just following my steps and we were a happy father daughter dancing duo and now the thought that “he is no more and I can never dance with him again” passed my mind and I couldn’t stop the tears rolling down my eyes.
I finished the valaga dance controlling my tears as I told myself that I should respect the stage and the people who came for us and not cry in front of them.I pulled myself together,Took a deep breath,Spoke to the wonderful audience and The minute I walked away from the stage I rushed back stage and brokedown 😭
Why did life get so unfair with me, I was the happiest when I’m on stage and yesterday I cried on the same stage!
Why did you leave me so soon Pappa?
I just can’t believe you are not with me anymore ,I do so many things to keep myself busy but I miss you every single second and life isn’t the same without you 😢
