· One way I’m choosing to unplug is to Crochet For A Cause — making a “welcome home” sign for someone moving out of homelessness and into housing.
· The letters we are crocheting will be part of a “welcome home” sign that will be gifted to young people who have found a safe places to live at the Covenant House and LA Family Housing.
· Covenant House builds a bridge to hope for young people facing homelessness and survivors of trafficking through unconditional love, absolute respect, and relentless support. Their doors are open 24/7 in 31 cities across six countries and their high-quality programs are designed to empower young people to rise and overcome adversity, today and in the future.
LA Family Housing helps people transition out of homelessness and poverty by providing continuum of housing enriched with supportive services.
