Wrapped last night. Acting has been something I have done since I was 10. I’ve spent more time on sets. In trailers. Hanging out with actors between takes. Forming friendships and learning so much Having spent the past few years choosing to write and not act I was hesitant to jump back in front of the camera. But it felt really good. Comfortable in a way that shouldn’t be surprising, but still somehow was. I’m truly grateful I still get to do what I set out to do many years ago. It never loses its magic. ✨✨✨

This is my sister Becky. It’s her birthday today. She is a #frontlineworker #nurse. She was supposed to work nights and they gave her it off so she could do something fun for her birthday. My aunt broke her ankle a few weeks ago and is in the hospital so Becky decided to go to her apartment today on her birthday and clean it for her before she gets home. Writing is rewriting. Today is our last day filming #swimmingwithsharks. To say it’s been a journey would be an understatement. I’ve made a custom date book for myself every year since I was 15. It’s a way for me to have a tangible roadmap for the year ahead. As years have gone by I’ve tried to switch over to online calendars but it’s never quite matched the trusty old date book. Entering 2021 with so much to be grateful for.
