Round 3 @fluro_rock “For this round, I took a step backwards and got rid of a lot of the background I didn’t like, it wasn’t adding anything to the piece, instead it was getting kind of lost. Now I can see the overall piece better and now work the background out to complement the letters. I wanted to get the maximum out of this project as possible, so some of my iterations may be removing things before replacing them with (hopefully) something better.” @askewone “For my third approach at this I wanted to start adding connections. I’ve added a few bars and brackets but also since 2007 or so I’ve been interested in cutting into the letters to make the letters more complicated in a subtractive manner rather than an additive one. It gives this cool opportunity reveal the shapes from the original Throw-up layer and link them together in new ways.”
