എൻ്റെ പ്രിയപ്പെട്ട ഡെന്നീസിനുവേണ്ടി ഈ വരികള്‍ കുറിയ്ക്കുമ്പോള്‍ ഓര്‍മ്മകള്‍ ക്രമം തെറ്റി വന്ന് കൈകള്‍ പിടിച്ചു മാറ്റുന്നപോലെയാണ് തോന്നുന്നത്. തിരക്കഥാലോകത്തെ രാജാവായിരുന്നു ഡെന്നീസ്. ആ രാജാവിൻ്റെ മക്കളായി പിറന്ന ഒട്ടേറേ കഥാപാത്രങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ജീവന്‍ നല്‍കാനുള്ള ഭാഗ്യം സിദ്ധിച്ച ഒരാളാണ് ഈ ഞാനും. സൗമ്യമായ പുഞ്ചിരിയില്‍ ഒളിപ്പിച്ചുവെച്ച, തിരിച്ചൊന്നും പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കാതിരുന്ന സ്നേഹമായിരുന്നു ഡെന്നീസ്. വെള്ളിത്തിരകളെ ത്രസിപ്പിക്കുന്ന എത്രയെത്ര ചടുലന്‍ കഥകള്‍, വികാര വിക്ഷോഭങ്ങളുടെ തിരകള്‍ ഇളകിമറിയുന്ന സന്ദര്‍ഭങ്ങള്‍, രൗദ്രത്തിൻ്റെ തീയും പ്രണയത്തിൻ്റെ മധുരവും വേദനയുടെ കണ്ണീരുപ്പും നിറഞ്ഞ സംഭാഷണങ്ങള്‍. ആര്‍ദ്രബന്ധങ്ങളുടെ കഥകള്‍ തൊട്ട് അധോലോകങ്ങളുടെ കുടിപ്പകകള്‍ വരെ മലയാള സിനിമയ്ക്ക് സമ്മാനിച്ച അതുല്യ പ്രതിഭ. എത്ര പറഞ്ഞാലും തീരില്ല ഡെന്നീസുമായുള്ള ആത്മബന്ധം. അതുകൊണ്ടുതന്നെ പാതിപറഞ്ഞ് നിര്‍ത്തുന്നു, ഇടറുന്ന വിരലുകളോടെ…
