Tomorrow we begin healing. I am optimistic (and very excited) about Biden-Harris Administration! Oh and… I can’t wait to enjoy Twitter again.

A refreshing sight to see accessibility and inclusivity at the inauguration. Wow. Watching Captain Andrea M. Hall cite and ✨SIGN✨ the Pledge of Allegiance made me well up. 🥺 I’ll never forget this moment.
BTW— Captain Hall became the first Black female Fire Captain in the history of the City of South Fulton Fire Rescue Department in Georgia in 2004.
Chatted with @britishgq regarding my fitness and mental health — why the hell would I intermittent fast (cuz cookies duh) — and DEAF U on @netflix! Link in bio 🙂

Cycling in Moab was a dream realised! The nasty, granddaddy of them all — 62 miles with 5,500 feet elevation gain — named the La Sal Loop is actually a bigger challenge than one of Tour de France stages 😳 Take that, Lance Armstrong! All pure over here!
However I must confess that it was a grueling bike ride… in high altitude, from 4,000 base elevation to 9,500, compared to what my heart and lungs are accustomed to… the sea level. No matter how much I prepared for fewer oxygen molecules, the altitude Gods laughed at me pedal after pedal, breath after breath, sneering and whispering in my ear to give up. Oh boy, did I want to quit. Multiple times.
I must thank the motorcyclists who cheered on me as they passed and waved in a gesture that told me to keep going, and that stranger who gave me snacks to help push me over the hedge. I did it!
In just two days I cycled for a total of 97 miles and 7,000 elevation gain. Over 100 miles if you want to include running. 10/10 would do it again and my future dumbass self shall be more prepared with snacks and water 🙄 anyway thanks for reading and go watch DEAF U on @netflix cuz I’m really proud. Moab, Utah

Ecstatic about this and to work with the incredible @neilmeron on this @NBC series!! ‘Look At Us’ is an ensemble drama about a multi-generational Deaf family, living under one roof, and their hearing daughter-in-law and granddaughter who move in after a change in their circumstances.
