In just over 8 weeks since I hatched this plan and started running, in waning daylight, in step with my brother (without whose badassery, today would never have been). In near tears with overwhelming gratitude for a body that would DO this, a mindset that believed it could and a community of real, live ANGELS, whose encouragement was an ever present lift. TWENTY*SIX*POINT*TWO! There is a zero percent chance that I’ll be able to walk tomorrow (but at least THIS ‘thon I didn’t have to head straight to LAX from the finish line to put on 6” heels and play a show in Vegas the same night!) and today (TODAY!)
