Irene Choi Instagram – Wrapping up AAPI Heritage Month! Although there’s some lingering guilt about having taken a social media hiatus for most of this month, I knew that I had to take a break and do some self-care (ps: shoutout to @kozyshack rice pudding), especially considering it was also Mental Health Awareness Month. But for the past week, I loved seeing everyone celebrate and honor those within our community and am grateful for the ongoing awareness and activism. We’re here and proud and believe it or not, can do other things besides math.
Thanks to fully vaxxed friends and my parents for joining me in having all the Asian food lately, which was the ONLY food I went out for this month. (And also got me thinking about what it would be like if we didn’t let racists eat our food and how outraged they would be.)
