My baby boy hated tummy time from the beginning. I still tried putting him on his tummy even if it was for as minimum as 10 secs. It gradually became better and better everyday. This past one week has been amazing and he has been holding up much better. These tiny books that I got from Amazon really helped with his tummy time. It was a nice way to divert him from the discomfort of it all. Ok! So that’s the end of the fourth trimester. We are officially 3 months old. The first three months of motherhood were a bumpy ride for me. Breastfeeding journey was thankfully really, really great. Weeks 4 to 6 was extremely difficult as my baby was colicky and he used to cry a lot during evening hours. After 6 weeks it slowly reduced and by the end of week 8 he turned into a happy lil baby. I really struggled through it as I hated to see him cry. My anxiety levels were on a 100 and I felt so angry and sad that I couldn’t help him. Thank god we’re over it now. Bless ‘em mamas who is going through that phase 🙌🙄 Last couple of weeks has been a delightful experience. Our space is filled with lil cooing sounds, giggles and laughters. When we smile at him, he smiles right back at us. He hates tummy time, but still I try to put him on his tummy. His neck muscles are getting stronger. Finally as a mamma I’ve reached the brighter side of the tunnel and am so happy and excited for this wonderful journey ahead.
