1. Dr Sudhanshu – a Covid warrior in Jaipur launched a free telemedicine service for the needy to help those who were unable to get treatment at overburdened hospitals. With 28 doctors on call and a bus with five oxygen concentrators for patients waiting for a hospital bed, he helps people in getting access to treatment at the earliest.
2. India reports a steady decline in Covid cases, Mumbai’s daily cases continues to show a declining trend too.
3. 55-year-old specially-abled neurosurgeon Dr Sarosh Bhacca offers treatment at Rs 20 for low-income patients In Surat even in the pandemic. Being disabled has not stopped him from serving people.
4. Sunitha R from Kochi is another such hero who has converted her auto into an ambulance. Amid the raging pandemic, Sunitha travels across the city helping Covid patients reach the hospital on time. The autorickshaws are fully equipped with medical care equipment and an oxygen facility.
5. As the nation gasps for air, gurdwaras across the country have stepped up to provide what are now known as ‘oxygen langars’ to help COVID-19 patients breathe.
