Sonali Bendre Instagram – It’s World Nutrition Day today and the importance of it has never been greater than right now, when we are battling the worst health crisis of our lifetime. Food heals… it’s something I’ve experienced personally and also through my work with the @cuddlesfoundation, who give children fighting cancer, access to nutritious food and a stronger chance at survival. With little or no source of income owing to large-scale lockdowns and other Covid related restrictions and complications, heart-breaking to see the patient’s families at Cuddles Foundation being forced to choose between their child’s treatment and the next meal for their family. It’s a choice no parent should ever have to make. But we can change that. Together, we can make sure they have one less thing to worry about by simply sponsoring their child’s nutrition so they can complete their treatment successfully. Sonali Bendre Instagram – While I’m not specifically a cat person (I’m a hardcore dog person), I thought we could make an exception for the next book of SBC, which is The Dalai Lama’s Cat by David Michie. I was looking for a warm, feel-good book, and I came across this one. It’s a little different from the books we’ve picked before, and is sort of an introduction to Buddhism told from the perspective of a cat.
