My son will be five months old in less than two weeks. He is such a happy baby even though he has started teething. He loves being read to and so far Dr. Seuss is his favorite, particularly One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish. Ok, that’s my favorite, but he does seem to like it a lot.

Thank you for all the lovely birthday wishes! I am really touched by all the kind thoughts. Getting to see my little boy’s joy-filled face every day, and watching him grow, is the best present I could ever receive.

This is a sad day. #AlexTrebek brought decades of joy and knowledge into millions of people’s lives. He faced this last difficult chapter of his remarkable life with tremendous courage and grace, and he gave strength to so many people facing challenges of their own. I began watching @Jeopardy! in high school and getting to compete on the show several times, and meet Alex, was a dream come true, even when @cheechmarin crushed me. Thank you Alex for the decades of dedication, and i hope your family finds some comfort in knowing how deeply you were loved and admired by all of us.
I feel very blessed to live in a country where we have free and fair elections.

Tonight is the first night I guest host on Jeopardy! I rarely get nervous, but I definitely was the first moment I stood behind Alex Trebek’s podium. It was a great honor and very moving for me. I have watched @Jeopardy since I was in high school (back when i had brown hair.) I am such a fan of the show and miss watching Alex, who was the perfect host, and conducted himself with such intelligence, humor and grace. I will be on for the next two weeks, April 19-30th. I know it sounds kind of cliche, but Ive been working on being more “present” in the moments of my life and have been running and walking a lot, even in this cold weather. Anyway, a couple months ago Apple asked me to record a conversation while walking and it’s just been released.
It is one of their #TimeToWalk episodes on @applefitnessplus. It’s about being present and also about my mom and dad and how they shaped my own approach to being a dad. I like how it turned out.
Last week on @jeopardy the contestants raised $118,000 for @hashaiti. The Hospital Albert Schweitzer in a remote region of #Haiti.
