Happy happy birthday my dear friend @andreabarber !! I’ve always been so proud to have you as one of my TV daughters. And as we both just talked about on my recent podcast with you, it always felt like we really knew each other, the way lifelong friends do. And anyone who knows anything about us— and that show we did together—knows that I looked forward to every scene we ever had together – – and every time you broke into our house to call me Mr. T —and rip me apart comedically. You are one of the kindest and most honest people I know. The door will always be open for you.
First time I got to spend time with my new niece in Chicago!!! She’s not the one on the far left. That’s a stone lion in front of The Peninsula Hotel, my fave home away from home in Chi-Town. So happy to finally meet my sister-in-law’s amazingly adorable kid! Had to wait ‘til she was 18 months to meet her! Love mi famiglia. The Peninsula Chicago
No matter where I am it always feels like I’m about to go onstage somewhere.
Okay, truth be told, this was taken between my two shows @semcasimmokalee —So I’m sending out a heartfelt thank you to the two wonderful audiences Saturday night— All of the special guests at the Seminole Casino Immokalee were really nice people and both shows were really fun. My beautiful wife @eattravelrock (her legal name) and me having such a nice time as always on the rooftop @thepeninsulachi @zbarchicago – I’d like to thank the Peninsula for their always awesome service— and hairspray for allowing me to be photographed in the Windy City. @choosechicago The Peninsula Chicago
First date night in a long time—Been three days— and here I am with my wiff @eattravelrock in St. Louis!
Nice to be outside on a rooftop @fsstlouis – And loved my sold out shows this weekend! Thanks to the great audiences.
So good to be back here. I’m rooting for St. Louis and all cities I’m traveling to on this tour. Wanna safely let people get together and laugh again. Thank you @explorestlouis @cinderhousestl ! Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis
HAPPY 99TH BIRTHDAY to the one and only @thenormanlear !!!
In this life, if you’re lucky, if you have a handful of friends who mean so much to you. Norman Lear is of course an amazing human being in every way possible. Yes, he changed television forever with the smartest, most poignant and funniest shows ever seen— but everyone and everything he touches, he blesses with his clarity, brilliance, and love. And here he is touching ME!
Norman, I treasure you as one of my dearest friends, and love you beyond words— and definitely beyond an Instagram post. Although this is a hell of a picture.
Wishing you the happiest and healthiest of birthdays with your incredibly beautiful family.
You are loved in the way I’m describing by so many people—Because you LOVE so many people.
And to quote your beautiful proclamation, “I love you, and I don’t give a f*ck who knows it!”
Happy Ninety-Nine Years Dear Amazing Norman!! ❤️💙
So excited about my new tour dates this year. Will be adding more as well. And of course lots of new ones in 2022 including Canada dates! Looking forward to seeing you out there. Go to the usual, bobsaget.com for tickets and info. Sending my best.

Last night…..So happy to be able to be in person with our “Cigar Night” group, for the first time in over a year. We did zooms with each other every week to stay connected as friends did during this past year and a half, but last night was an amazing celebration of life and resetting— With hugs, food, wine, cigars and then we all played our instruments into the night. And all of it started years back, and revolves around the kindest, smartest, best friend you could ever dream of, @thenormanlear – We celebrated Norman’s upcoming 99th birthday a little early- with music and laughter and deep friendships. Thanks to @erichirshberg for hosting, Glen Barros for wine expertise, and in the center of the photo, Sir Norman. Top row, in case you need a good new friend, is @paulhipp @martinguiguiofficial Glen Barros, @gregg.field @brauntosoarus @davidstephenkoz John Berk, and @erichirshberg – All of us surrounding the gentleman in the center, our pal, Norman. Appreciated every moment of finally getting together again. Keep your friends close.

I am so proud to know our esteemed Board Member of the Scleroderma Research Foundation – My heart is always with her for the loss of her son, Matt, and her dedication to help the SRF save others stricken with this disease. Dr. Sharon Dobie is a true hero. Her son Matt was a true hero.

“I love this picture of us,” says Sharon Dobie, looking at a photo of her and her son Matt out on the water on a beautiful day. A man with a steely resolve, an infectious laugh, and a can-do attitude, Matt passed in 2017 from complications of pneumonia and scleroderma. Sharon became a member of the SRF Board of Directors that same year to join the foundation’s search for a cure.
Today, Sharon asks for everyone to stand with her in supporting the 2021 Research Challenge. This year, the SRF’s Annual Research Challenge highlights the Multi-omics Profiling of Interstitial Lung Disease in Systemic Sclerosis project. Inspired by the unique nature of this research, which is only possible at just a select few elite institutions, Sharon says, “This challenge is really important to me, because Matt’s worst part of his condition was scleroderma-associated interstitial lung disease.”
With her medical expertise as a Family Medicine physician, Sharon understands why it’s not enough to just fund research; she recognizes the important role played by the SRF to accelerate the pace of scientific discovery by nurturing the most promising projects and fostering collaboration. “The SRF provides leadership to some of the brightest minds working on scleroderma,” she says. “We’re driving science in the direction of a cure.”
Join Sharon in driving science today. Support the SRF Research Challenge before July 15th and your gift will be matched; visit the link in our bio.
Had a good time with my friend @jaketapper on his show @theleadcnn talking about The “History of the Sitcom,” premiering Sunday on @cnn 9pm ET. Here’s the full interview.
THIS is the charity that means the world to me, having lost my sister to scleroderma. Our virtual event on YouTube is Oct. 17th—and I’d love for you to help and enjoy this show, as we raise money to get the best cutting edge research to help those affected by the disease that took my sister’s life.
