Jessica Watson Instagram – Ten years ago today. After 210 days alone, that first hug from Mum and Dad was very special. I’m sure many people can relate in our current socially distanced world. When talking about the voyage these days, I’m often caught saying “we” – I say that because I’m referring to Ella’s Pink Lady (that tough little boat and I were close like that!), and in reference to my incredible team and all the amazing people who supported the voyage. Thank you to those who were part of it from the start, weathering all the criticism, thank you to everyone who helped to prepare Ella’s Pink Lady and to everyone who followed along via the blog and tracker. It was your voyage too so happy 10-year anniversary! Thank you all!
