Lucy Fry Instagram – Feeling like a bad bitch for making it through quarantine 💪
I’ve been thinking about a mythical bad bitch in here, Circe, the worlds first witch ✨ the gods banished her to the island of Aeaea, alone. But there, she didn’t crumple, she befriended the lions and worked on her magic.
Thanks all my mates who sent love in here and helped me to Circe the shit out of this room!
I might even miss staring at this oddly patterned carpet now.
Lucy Fry Instagram – Back in the Big Scrub 💚
A walk through Booyong Nature Reserve with the incredibly skilled rainforest regenerator Darren Bailey brought the quiet connections of this ancient forest into focus. Scents of Sassafras, Red Cedar and Pepperberry surrounded as we gazed up at this Giant Water Gum… which could be around a thousand years old!
Booyong trees, small leaved figs, arrowhead vines, rainforest myrtles and hundreds of other plant species support the rainforest dependent birds and insects in the area. We heard whip birds and Wompoo doves, saw fairy wrens, emerald doves and even a sea eagle who’s made a a nest in the canopy above.
Less than 1% of this rich biodiverse subtropical rainforest remains… and I am so grateful that @bigscrublandcare is working tirelessly to protect it.
