Sarah Paulson Instagram – I’m just one person in the world, but Quintin Jones, I think you were worth fighting for. My admiration for you will not be dimmed. Rest In Peace. 💔
Sarah Paulson Instagram – PLEASE AMPLIFY EVERYWHERE. Quintin Jones is scheduled to be executed tonight, May 19th, in Texas. We have only hours to try and get Texas Governor Greg Abbott to grant a 30 day Stay of Execution so that Quintin’s legal team can continue the work of trying to save his life.

He, and tens of thousands of people across the country, are pleading for a reduction in his sentence, from death to life in prison. Yesterday the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles voted against granting him this clemency. In 2018, the board recommended such clemency for Thomas Whitaker, a white man, who’s plea for clemency was very similar to Quin’s, who is Black. This raises concerns that the Board’s decision was racially biased, warranting an investigation into their process.

Ways you can help:
Call the Governor’s office and ask he grant the 30 day stay using the numbers at gov.texas.gov/contact
Tag @govabbott and ask he grant the 30 day stay, use the hashtag #savequintinjones
