For all those reminding me- Yes, I forgot about the audio!🙈 but you all know what a whistle sounds like. Whistle along with me 😀
I was trying to get Champ’s attention, but he no care! 🤪
It was 2006,I was shooting for a film in Hampi when I got ‘the call’. ‘7 puppies’ the vet said!I drove the same night after shoot to see Brandy and the puppies.
When I laid my groggy eyes on her for the first time my eyes lit up! She was this beautiful, gorgeous puppy, and while all the other puppies were yelping, she was calm BUT she was also very, very tiny, my palm seemed big in comparison. I took to her immediately.
Tiny was the runt of the litter and the vet said she wouldn’t make it past a week. But in my heart I knew,Tiny was going to live. And she did.A full 11 years.I truly believe- love conquers all.
She couldn’t feed off Brandy,so I would stay up all night to feed her every two hours with a feeding bottle and she’d snuggle with me in bed. Ever since then, she shadowed me everywhere. When I’d come home after a long day, she’d always be awake and receive me with excitement and affection. She didn’t wag just her tail she’d wag her whole bottom. In a world that’s always making you feel inadequate, self doubt, she made me believe I was enough. She taught me that every one is capable of true, unconditional love and that love heals. When I look back now, I didn’t rescue her, she rescued me.
Tiny was friendly, shared her food AND treats, playful, trusting and gentle. She was observant, smart,empathetic- If I got annoyed with her(!!)she’d still stick around and wait patiently for me to call her back, she never sulked. She taught me to loosen up,be kind and patient. The best relationships are the unspoken ones. It’s all heart and nothing else.
Most people wish they had spent more time with their loved ones after they’re gone.I do too.I wish I wasn’t so busy working, wish I knew how to balance my time,I wish so many things-
They also say to find is to lose. It may be 2 years since she’s gone but my heart swells with love. For all the love,time,lessons,fun,laughs,cuddles,kisses-I’m so grateful to you my sweet, sweet Tiny.Thank you for making life worth it. I love you

Who are those people who Ghanti bajao’d Thali bajao’d and sang Go corona Go? 🙄Obviously it didn’t work. The PM and his antics! 😏
Please wear a mask 😷 India is going through some really trying times. Lockdown is not a privilege everyone can afford and frankly I’m not so sure about those vaccines. Not enough trials. Not sure of it’s efficacy. New strains, relapses and antibodies don’t really stay for longer than 8 months 🤷🏽♀️
Go vegetarian, eat local, organic, seasonal & support the farmers 😊 They are your future to good health.
How cute are these two? They say goats are canine like- and I believe it. The baby goat and the dog (Moti as in Pearl) playing in a field at Jadhav ji’s village. Jadhav ji works at a chemist close to where I stay and he thinks Moti looks like Champ so he showed me this video. I thought it was an adorable video, sharing with you so it puts a smile on your face 🤗♥️
Also, so much to learn from them right? Love is such a beautiful thing to share not only with your own kind but with every being.

I do want to see your skin care routine and how quickly you can get ready to the count of ten, how you ‘buss it’, how you put on make up just by snapping your fingers and also unboxing the new stuff you’ve just received, what you wore to a friends party/wedding, dancing to your favourite track and I definitely want to know what’s on your plate, how many kms you’ve run, how you are working from home, managing your work life balance- we all deserve this and much much more.
Women have come a long long way.
BUT I’d also like to see that you care. That you have a voice.
We could not have made it here if not for the women (& some men) who raised their voices fearlessly for our rights and our freedom.
If Disha Ravi the 21 year old climate activist is in jail today- we are all collectively responsible. We’ve been mute spectators to this spectacle in our country for too long.
When was the last time we spoke up for a fellow citizen?
Have we forgotten the power of the people? Have we forgotten that this country is ours to make? Reminder- India is for the people, by the people and of the people.
These women were jailed because they had an opinion. Because they raised their voice against injustice. These women came out of their comfort zones to fight for us. They put everything at stake, their family, their career, their friends, everything. We must speak up for them now. Show them that we care and that we are in this together.
Now where are all you women at? Let’s make some noise. Raise your voice!

Thank you @gurmeharrr for the mention 🤗
In India we say Annadata Sukhi Bhava or Annadata Sukhino Bhavantu which is a Sanskrit shloka translates to -May the provider of the food be happy.
Sadly, today, the farmers of our country, the providers of our food are unhappy. They are fighting against the farm laws that take away their rights. It’s our duty to stand by them in their time of difficulty.
I’m tagging some superwomen I know to post a picture of their favourite grain/legumes/vegetable/fruit and share a recipe of their comfort food using the hashtag #Happinessforfarmers #ರೈತರಹಕ್ಕು
@soniajain_thinkingbodies @ritika.jolly @vaishalimp @mitali.rannorey @gauravi_vinay @sandhyashekar please take this forward!
