Week 3.
This recomp phase has/is been/going quite successful.
Hard nevertheless successful.
Enjoying every day of it, even the days I’ve been struggling – because I knew deep down- ladies and gents that.. *drumroll* impermanence:) lol, that it wasn’t going to last forever 🙌🏼
Also, I don’t hold the belief that just because things are hard they will pay off or that they will only pay off because said situation is ‘hard:difficult’. I feel like this subconscious or unconscious ‘belief’ is what gets tricky for most people to .. reiterate for themselves.
Steady at 65.5kgs, body fat lowering and muscle mass going up 🙌🏼 one week to szn 3.

Week 2 day 4
This is how I’m feeling. Limiting social interactions with humans in the flesh cuz Lo and behold it takes energy – Energy that I need to hold onto for training sessions.

I forgot what being in a deficit feels like.

T- 2 weeks till we are scheduled to start shoot .. for the 3rd time 🤞🏼🙌🏼🙏🏼
Getting physically ready has only been more of a challenge this entire past year since every time I was in peak shape- shoot got pushed [bc of the rona- worse things are happening – I am well aware – this post is just talking about the challenges prepping for shoot in this time].
So here I am again, 2 weeks out and mentally (somehow) refreshed and ready to take it on. Training protocol is intense, we are hitting 2 sessions a day and my I’m in a calorie deficit for the first time in.. years. Lol. I am enjoying it though – since that is all I (we) can do – control how I (we) feel about it [ 🔑].

It’s cool to see, as we grow and become more aware – how different everyones love languages are.
For some it’s saying ‘I love you’, for others it’s only being able to say ‘I hate you thoooo’ with ‘lololol’ at the end. For others it’s, text me when you get home, and Have you eaten something?
It may be something as small as going to the store and seeing their favourite fruit or chips or ice cream or lip balm in stock and picking it up for them.. it might be a single stem of a 🌹 it might be a song 🎵 you send them.. the point is – it’s cool to realize that everyone expresses love – just differently – and it’s even cooler to see and understand the ways they do it 🙂

It’s sad that to this day we don’t appreciate and value art and artists until long after their demise. They suffer and live in desolation with a fervour to continue only few truly understand.. then again we barely value and appreciate people in general until it’s oft too late. May this serve as a reminder, to let people you care about know, and feel – cared and loved.
