Happy mothers day to all of us! Funny how this skill of loving unconditionally has actually cost us in weird ways and imposed bizarre expectations on us. Being expected to give up on ourselves, being somehow convinced this would be the ‘right way’, wrapped up in our own dilemma of the necessity to personally dissolve to be able to let another live. We’ve been taught to impinge on each other instead of reaching out, by the very mindset that reduces our existence to this unique responsibility we actually happen to gladly take. Let’s take a look back and celebrate ourselves too while we celebrate this day, for we have insisted and on loving and passing this skill on too, despite the imposed!
