First Portfolio, Ten years ago.. Remember this day so clearly when this 2nd AD (assistant director) from the advertising world was sent to do a photo shoot for a friend’s friend who couldn’t find a model for free, in order to build his portfolio.
Leading to a series of “Hi my name is Nidhi Singh and these are my profiles.”

This one popped up today and it felt like my papa sent it my way.. ☺️
He was a man of deep faith and grit & had a beautiful ability to stay calm and steady, no matter what.
Also, he had an exceptional ability to say the right thing at the time it’s most relevant… (I on the other hand, Don’t. At all. Lol)
And the more I wonder how was he constantly so relevant and wise, the more I realise it’s because of his deep love for new knowledge and a strong zest for life because he really did understand how fickle it was.
If he made you a cup of coffee – it was the best coffee hands down. When he treated his patients, he was the best doctor they’d ever been treated by..
He laughed loudly, spoke truthfully, worked sincerely, apologised instantly, trusted deeply, loved passionately, fought bravely and forgave kindly.
He was flawed and how but man was he fabulous!
It’s been exactly 3 months and 12 days since my sweetest man left his human form and every single moment since congregates to nothing without his loud laughter & funny sarcastic remarks..
I don’t know why I’m sharing this today but I felt this deep urge to do it..
To anyone this resonates with –
