Today is a very sad day for our family as my nani (mom’s mom) has passed on. She was 93 years old and after my mom the most beautiful, strongest, smartest, fashionable, empathetic, kindest, and talented woman that I was so lucky to have in my life. She taught me to be tough and kind. She taught me to be intelligent and humble. She taught me to be curious and insightful. She taught me the Lucknowi Hindi and playing cards. All those times I would come to her room and mess it up with my 2 gigantic suitcases coming from #america are the things I will always treasure. So many things I want to share and say.
