Our little bundle of joy, Luca Shaan Langella, made his perfect entrance into the world on May 27th, 2021! Mommy and Daddy are doing great and are so madly in love with our sweet little bean burrito 👶🏻 Can’t get enough of his little gurgles, cuddles and animated facial expressions 🥰! He is a happy, healthy boy and looks just like his dad, but with mom’s nose and hair 🤗. Luca bear, you’ve filled our lives with indescribable joy (and sleepless nights for now 😅), and you truly are the “giver of light”! Wish we could keep you this little forever!
Had the most amazing care throughout my whole pregnancy, and the best Labor & Delivery and Postpartum nurses at @providenceoregon who looked after me so well during my hospital stay.
I could not have had as calm and pleasant experience without @joe.langella, who is the best daddy already and gave me so much strength and encouragement through my pregnancy and is continuing to love and pamper me to no end (and making sure mommy gets the best nutrition!)
Great to have my mom here with me just in time for my delivery and allowing us to catch up on sleep while Luca gets precious Nini time 🙂 Can’t wait for the rest of the family and friends to meet the little man!!

Here it is….a tour of Baby Luca’s nursery! Mama is super proud of how it turned out 🤗. Let’s be honest….nursery designing is more about the mom’s vision coming to life than what the baby wants, right? 😋👶🏻
We wanted something that would “grow” well as Luca gets into his toddler years since Daddy @joe.langella and I tirelessly painted this room while I was in my second trimester. We landed on a woodland theme that would go well with the Pacific Northwest outdoors, since he will be spending lots of outdoors time with dad fishing and hiking and doing the things that I would rather let them have quality time doing 😅 (hint: I am not an outdoorsy gal!).🌲🏔️
I thoughtfully curated every single item in this room- spent months building my registry and did a lot of trial and error to figure out what we actually need vs nice to haves vs complete gimmicks that are overhyped. Luca is one spoiled kid, he has his hi-fi toys, activity centers, baby bath items, gear…not to mention his very own walk-in closet, which is somehow already filled with stuff for when he’s older! 🧸🪀🧮
