Vad kan man säga? Det har varit ett konstigt år att filma under. Vi har inte kunnat samlas i någon slutfest eller premiär pga pandemin och jag håller på att spricka av tacksamhet så här kommer det… Young Royals kunde komma till tack vare alla otroliga filmarbetare, skådespelare och statister. Jag är så tacksam över att ha fått vara med och berätta om dom hör karaktärerna. Jag hade aldrig kunnat ana vad den här serien skulle komma att betyda för publiken. Det har bara gått ett dygn och min, de andra kreatörerna och skådespelarnas inkorgar svämmar redan över av meddelanden från publiken världen över. Shit alltså, wow vilket medium vi har privilegiet att jobba med. Vad viktigt det är inte bara vad vi berättar utan hur vi berättar. Att ge människor en möjlighet att bli speglade och känna sig mindre ensamma. Det var det som fick mig att vilja bli regissör när jag var 13. Sjukt… hur som helst. Tack för alla delningar och meddelanden! Jag vill verkligen poängtera att det krävs ett kollektivt arbete för att få ihop en produktion. Jag vill inte skriva ut namn för alla finns inte här men tack fantastiska team som krigade för att den här serien skulle bli och tack för att ni trodde och litade på min vision. Och jag vill rikta ett extra stort tack till alla statist-elever som dök upp varje dag och kämpade med oss. Ni gjorde Hillerska!!! Och ni skådespelare, ALLA ni, fyfan ni e sjuka i huvvet bra.
