T-minus six days until Y: The Last Man debuts at FX on Hulu! Co-creator @pia.guerra and I are fortunate to have our names on this gorgeous adaptation, but our comic was the loving labor of lots of creators, especially inker @josemarzanjr and letterer Clem Robins, who worked on nearly every panel of our 1,400-page epic. They were joined by one of the best lineups of guest artists ever: Paul Chadwick, Goran Parlov, and my friend @goransudzuka. We had painted covers from legends @jgjonesart, @aronwiesenfeld, and @sketchesnatched, and outstanding colors from @ramb0ps and everyone at Zylonol. But our series never would have lasted six issues without the patience and wisdom of editors @karenpberger, @comixace, @grandpabunche, @thrilliod, and all the unsung heroes behind the scenes at @dccomics and the dearly departed Vertigo. We were just kids when we made this thing! I don’t think any of us imagined readers would still be devouring/debating/attempting to ban the book nearly twenty years later, so I’m also grateful to the comic retailers and booksellers who still stress-test their shelves with our heavy collections.
