This first season of #LostGirl was such a gift for all of us. And the beginning of a 6 year journey that would challenge us professionally and personally, but would reward us with friendship and craft to last a lifetime.

It’s time for a great social shift.
Away from the greed and violent control systems of the old world, sadly still very present today.
Our indigenous communities have such valuable lessons on how to live in harmony with nature.
A new paradigm must rise. And the influence of the ancestral peoples must be listened to.
It’s not about who’s to blame.
Most of us weren’t born and even our ancestors weren’t here.
But we all benefit from this beautiful country that was taken by force and have stood by in ignorance or complacency while the original peoples suffer.
It is our responsibility to support our indigenous communities.
Fair governance.
Cultural celebration and support.
Equality.
And how about clean water for f*cks sake?

Finally got around to hanging some posters in the TV room.
A couple classics, a bit of #wesanderson some #studioghibli and a terrific romantic comedy that was unfortunately before it’s time…
and got slapped with an R rating just because two men kiss in it.
That was censorship in 2004.
Glad the times have changed.
