Home Actress Simi Chahal HD Instagram Photos and Wallpapers September 2021 Simi Chahal Instagram - PCOS, life and the weight gain… well, let’s go back a little🥴 these pictures are from March 2020, just a few months after i had been diagnosed with PCOS and the doctor had put me on the birth control pills. Yes, i was definitely skeptical about the pills but as culturally instilled in us that “A doctor can never be wrong”- obviously i didn’t question her🤫.Took them religiously for 5 months and i gained insane amount of weight😵‍💫(the photos above).Left the pills. But this is just tip of the iceberg.🤭This syndrome slams you down real bad with terrible periods, mood swings, fatigue, irritation, depression, excessive hair growth, insulin resistance, hair loss n the list goes on. As a girl you see yourself/body change in the ways you definitely won’t like😶. I was indeed in a very dark space for quite sometime. The worst part is no one really understands what you are going through as PCOS has no clear cause or a treatment. Majority of people don’t even know what it is(just like i didn’t)so can’t blame them🙃. It differs from body to body soooo, it’s quite a tricky ride.I am only posting all this here today because i feel we need more awareness about PCOS. Both women and men should know about this.Women coz it’s their body and men; coz well you guys need to help your lovers, partners, daughters, sisters and friends to get through these awful times! Please do your research. Read about it, get tested for it. Get your hormones tested. If your mind/body is behaving unusually, it is for a reason. Please be aware! I don’t want you girls to repeat my mistakes. Take it seriously and work on it.😊 Maybe this was my calling for a better lifestyle😇It’s been more than a year now that i have been eating clean and exercising. I am back to my normal body weight🥰 i have read more than a thousand articles on PCOS, consulted nutritionists and finally figured out a better way to live with this, coz the truth is it’s not leaving me anytime soon🤷🏻‍♀️ So, we gotta coexist in the healthiest and happiest way possible☺️ Fortunate enough to be back in a fit body and a mind after all the struggles🙈😬 (What worked : in next post😊)

Simi Chahal Instagram – PCOS and life… (Part -2)
How did i get my body weight back to normal ?
What worked for me ?

>Exercise (atleast 5 times a week)💪🏼
>meditation/yoga (whenever i feel like)🧘🏽‍♀️
>Eating clean (no refined sugar, fried food, no processed food🚫)
>Eating lots of fibre, good amount of protein, tons of green veggies, and healthy fats)
>Cutting off dairy and gluten (gradually but completely) [this one was(still is) the hardest for me] ❌🥛🍞
>trying my best to stress out less (will seem kind of impossible initially, but you will get there☺️)
>reading 📚
>not letting my body gain any weight again and maintaining it now😌

Buttt, YES i have my cheat meals (2-3 times a month). Yes, this wasn’t easy for me. Specially cutting off dairy; because Milk and all the milk products were my life🥺. I was a girl who didn’t have any meal without curd(dahi), desi gheo/makhan. Mai tan kaddi naal vi dahi khaan waleyan cho si🤣🙊I had to give up my favourite milkshakes and basically everything i lived and breathed for🥲 Yet, the best part is- amazing alternatives(dairy and gluten free) are available everywhere now.
I promise you- it’s a journey that you won’t regret when you come out on the other side of it.🥰 Because after all the most clichéd phrase is the holy truth- “health is wealth”😁😇

Most importantly, all of this worked for me only when i did it sincerely and didn’t leave anything behind. You can’t expect results if you are not eating clean but only exercising or vice-versa. It all goes hand in hand😊

(Do your research- read reliable articles about PCOS)

P.S. I only shared all of this because i want to help as many women as i can through my personal experience. All our bodies are different from one another’s, the severity of the PCOS could be different as well. So i would definitely suggest every girl/woman going through this to visit the best Nutritionist/Doc around you, who has specialized in PCOS. Please never take birth control/hormone pills (atleast not without knowing the details of them)😊

CHANGE your lifestyle, Eat mindfully, do some PCOS friendly exercises ! And see the magic happen✨
Have a beautiful healthy life 💟

You go girl; YOU CAN DO THIS ❤️💪🏼
