Thanks to the sweet, talented and oh so gracious @mckennagraceful for the invite last night to her film screening of “Ghostbusters Afterlife.” After working with her on “Fuller House,” it was obvious she was destined to carrying movie after movie— as well as knowing how to deal with those pesky ghosts.
She is truly a one of a kind with the natural acting talents of the some of the very best.
And the movie was fun too!

So very proud to Host the @womensguild event Wednesday night, benefitting the Neurology Project at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
And honored to honor the amazing Barbara Herman, an incredible philanthropic and deeply caring woman, who was honored on this lovely night.
Also honored, was the brilliant, legendary, Danny DeVito, also for his philanthropic endeavors and his connection to Cedars Sinai as well as his vast career which has brought joy to the world for decades.
The special gift of the evening was an amazing performance by the astonishing @piatoscano who brought the house down, even though there was no roof, because it was in the lovely piazza, outdoors at The Mayboume Beverly Hills.
For more than 60 years, Women’s Guild’s conviction has changed the game for much of modern medicine. The Women’s Guild Lung Institute, the Breast Center – A Project of Women’s Guild, the innovative Women’s Guild Simulation Center for Advanced Clinical Skills, the Women’s Guild Chair in Gastroenterology and now their Neurology Project with Cedars-– These outstanding women have given such a gift to the people of Los Angeles and to the world.
Having lost a sister years ago to a brain aneurysm, the work that these fine unstoppable women are doing means even more to me personally.
From @srfcure – 25 years ago today, “For Hope”—a movie Directed and Executive Produced by Scleroderma Research Foundation board member @bobsaget—aired on ABC, gaining critical acclaim and changing how the world sees scleroderma. The film starred board member emeritus @danadelany and featured SRF founder Sharon Monksy.
“This film was inspired by my sister Gay who lost her life to scleroderma when she was only 47. It is incredibly painful to have a loved one experience a condition like this,” Bob says. “‘For Hope’ was an emotional film to make, but I know it still brings awareness to scleroderma and why we need research. There will be no improved treatment and there is no cure without the research.”

Another thing I loved about last night’s poignant event that I hosted, was seeing people I’ve known and had high regard for. It’s especially precious these days as we all know…..
On my left is one of the best bass guitarists alive, Will Lee, AKA @unclewilllee Who I knew all 30+ of those years on David Letterman’s shows. So happy he was part of this miracle of a band at this special event.
—AND, I got to have some laughs with the super-talented @laurenalaina – Who reminded me that we’d met years back at the Greek Theatre where I told her she was the “Best Performer I Ever Saw.” In any case, it wasn’t disingenuous, she put on a great show of course.
And the show itself went to a cause you can’t say no to— For The First Responders Children’s Foundation @1strcf -20th Anniversary Celebration at @citywinerynyc —
And special thanks to all of the caring people who raised the money to pay honor to all our Heroes who lost their lives in the 911 tragedy. This event helped raise much needed money for their surviving children. Thanks to all who made this happen.

“In The Year 2000” —Will always be another one of my favorite pieces Conan O’Brien did back before the year 2000– Which was considered “the future” back then, as time and comedy goes. I had the privilege of being in this sketch with Conan a couple times, which he’d put his comedy friends in as well as the amazing Richie “LaBamba” Rosenberg who sang the futuristic theme in full falsetto.
At this musical charity event in New York this week, I was able to corner Richie, put him in a dark electrical closet and get him to reenact this piece of comedy gold music theme.
Thank you @the_real_labamba and @teamcoco – It’s 2021 and some of the Comedy in the original sketches became prophecy.
