These two films influenced my life and my work in ways I may not even be aware of. When Rakeysh sir spoke to me about #Toofaan I was so excited that I didn’t believe him at first. But then when things stated to get real with look tests and readings I came to terms with the fact that ‘this IS happening’ the journey that followed then, has been one of the most gratifying creative experiences of my life ! @faroutakhtar is the greatest co actor I’ve worked with. He always makes everyone else better on set !! He is kind, secure, ethical and above all, a fantastic artist ! What do I say about Rakeysh sir @rakeyshommehra Rakeysh sir is a master! But he is also a friend. In world full of people telling you what to do, Rakeysh sir’s first and only approach to cinema is what he said to on the first day of shooting – he said “do what you want, Main sirf tujhe batata rahoonga kya nahi karna hai ” this continues to be the soundest acting or career advice I’ve got in my entire life ! ♥️ This is me, sharing some thoughts.
