I have been blessed with the opportunity to share my love for drag and our art form. I hope that I didn’t disappoint my community by leaving on my asian representation week with Yoko Ono and Sandra Oh @iamsandraohinsta . Having my sister Stephanie leave before me was devastating and I gave myself extra pressure to keep pushing to make a positive impact for our AAPI community. It has been a hell of a year for many communities and I wanted to have a small win for us. I hope that I was able to display our community’s philosophy and resilience on the show.
I want to thank all the artist, my mother, my family, my friends and my ex for helping me go through this adventure that is full of beautiful surprises. In Yoko Ono’s word “A dream you dream alone is only a dream. A dream you dream together is reality.” I dared to dream and will continue to do so with everyone I love.
PS: let’s hope Yoko Ono and Sandra Oh doesn’t sue me for defamation 😭🤣
