McKayla Maroney Instagram – Airplane mode type of night lol but I’m curious.. What does self care mean to you? 🧖‍♀️🛁✈️🤍 For me it means turning down other peoples noise, and tuning into myself. That in itself is a skill I’ve been working on for a while. Sometimes I need to reflect, and talk to God, and sometimes I just need to laugh and dance around. Mental health is yours to refine and define!!! We’re approaching the holidays aka “The Season of Giving” but if you’re not feeling happy and full within yourself how do you expect to give fully and completely to others?!?!?! The joy of giving is in expecting nothing back!! When your heart is full it feels good to want nothing back but someone’s happiness. So if you’ve been feeling empty, or drained I encourage you to dive deeper into yourself. Turn down other people’s noise, and listen closely to your own. What do you need?
