Date night, you ask? Nope. Self tape in Santa Monica once the kids are down. Thanks @theactingguru #alldressedupandnowheretogo #workingmama
Absolutely delighted that my performance on @forallmankind_ as Molly Cobb has been selected by @theavc as one of the best for 2021. What an honour to share the list with so many talented individuals.

Best TV series of 2021 for @rollingstone ‘the year’s best, most assured, most intensely satisfying stretch of TV.’ Such delightful words. Thank you to everyone for your continued love and support for this wonderful show.
First museum in 2 years. Snuck in before we all lock down again. Sigh. Stay safe, my friends, stay home, get vaxed and boosted. Nobody ever caught COVID from a book… #academymuseum

I loved having my dear friend Dan Houser on @bookishwithsonya as the final guest of the season. It was such a privilege to get to talk to him non-stop about books for an hour or so with no interruptions. I especially loved getting some fascinating insight into how his favourite literature helped shape the fantasy worlds he has created in his professional life. Link in bio for Apple Podcast users or you can find #bookishwithsonya wherever you get your podcasts.

Thank you so much for all of your support during Season 3 of #bookishwithsonya. I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did and found some inspiration and book recommendations in each episode. Do keep in touch between now and Season 4 and let me know what you’re reading, send me a picture of a book that has shaped you, and let me know who you want to hear from in Season 4. Until then, happy holidays!
My guest this week on @bookishwithsonya is the wonderful athlete, actress, model and public speaker, @aimeemullins. I absolutely loved chatting with Aimee about all things reading, writing and our shared love of George Saunders. My daughter and I have already started The Wicked Pigeon Ladies and it’s as gothic and weird and glorious as Aimee promised. The Second Circle, I am also loving. It’s a fabulous book. I find myself walking into a room and wondering who there is in second circle and whether I am. Wholeheartedly recommend to everyone – not just actors. Thanks again for coming to chat with me, Aimee. Let me know when you’ve listened to the episode and what your favourite moments were. #bookishwithsonya
Sorted out the kids bookshelves – alllllll these get donated to their school. They’re real readers now, onto chapter books and graphic novels, so we need to make space. Heartbreaking to let go of so many that we’ve read for so many years, but at least the kids will still get to see them in their school library! (And we have double this still sitting on their shelves…) Plus swipe for last night’s sunset.
