2021 has been a mixed bag of sorts..
While loss and grief have had more than their fair share of the pie, health has been questionable, and personal life has been on autopilot (I don’t know who’s in charge, it’s certainly not me), I’ve also felt loved, blessed and fortunate to have the respect and adulation of all you wonderful people. Here’s the thing though, through all of it, I honestly found that only very little of it was close to being in my control.
As we all strap in on this eve of 2022 to take the turn into another year, I’d like to take the opportunity to remind you all to smile, through as much of it as you can.. (Really, that’s all you can do)
Also, not to sound preachy, but if possible, find it in you to be a little more kind, a little more compassionate, a little more empathetic towards one another.. Life is fragile, we’ve learnt that only too well.
Going into this one, I’m thinking I want to come out by the end of it thinking ‘Man, I gave this year everything I had, and seized as much from it as I could’.
So 2022 my friend, ready or not, here I come..
