Bryan Konietzko Instagram – Howdy, friends. I did a couple versions of this drawing as gifts for some young folks who, on one hand, are finding it hard to fit into the systems and constructs society has laid out for them; and on the other, have found that making art is something they have a knack for and that makes them feel better—like a window into a world where they do feel like they belong. I want to encourage them and anyone else out there who might be feeling the same to keep making art, and to keep getting to know themselves—their true selves, not what society or social media might want them to be—through the process. Climb through that window and join the rest of us creative folks who make stuff because we are compelled to, because it’s how we thrive and the best and only way we know how to exist.
