Nanny…words can’t describe how much we will all miss your warmth and your love. You were so incredibly strong, and even while battling cancer earlier in my childhood, your radiant smile never failed to light up the room. Over the course of this year and pandemic, during each of our socially distanced visits, we always reminded each other that eventually we would be able to hug again. Sadly, I will have to wait a lot longer to get that hug now, but I know even as you are on the other side of the sky, we will all continue to feel your love protecting us. There is no love quite like the love a grandmother has for her grandkids, and you made that abundantly clear to us over the years with your endless hugs and by being there for every birthday, christmas, halloween, thanksgiving, hockey game, or school play. I hope wherever you are, you can enjoy a fresh lobster with a glass of your favourite wine. Thank you for absolutely everything. I will love and miss you forever Nanny ❤️ November 2, 1948 – November 2, 2020.
